I have had two mangoes sitting in my fridge for over a week now. I ate one for breakfast this morning, and it was so glorious that I wanted to write about it. I'm looking forward to devouring the second one in the morning.

My fiance, EA, hates mangoes. When I leave them on the bench and they cast their wonderful scent throughout the kitchen, he is none too pleased.

Seriously, who hates mangoes?

I therefore keep my mangoes in the fridge, which works out better, because there is nothing more refreshing than eating a mango so cold it is almost freezing.

That is all.

Cut them like the pic, then pop them in the freezer. Perfect for munching on when it's hot. Or then pop them in the blender with a bit of bacardi or vodka and you have instant daiquiris. Yum.

Love mangoes too! But we have a mango tree and we've been eating heaps of it. First just the fruit itself, now we have to think of other ways to eat it cos we're getting a little sick of them now. Nice blog :)

Mangoes are the best.

I make a great mango salsa.

You get two mangoes, a punnet of cherry tomatoes cut in half, about a quarter of a bunch of coriander and half a red onion, and you chop everything up and mix it together.

You can season with some raspberry balsamic if you wish.

Great bloggy froggy. x
