Here we go again...

The materials for my two CPA subjects arrived in the post today.

I'm now having a bit of a freak out. Where on earth am I going to find the time to study these two subjects and a Juris Doctor subject, work, spend time with EA and our families and friends, go to the gym and CHILL OUT?!?!?!?

I think the answer is that I won't find the time. There just aren't enough hours of the day, and sacrifices are going to have to be made. The next three months are going to be so busy and draining. The happy news is that when the semester is over it will be a year out from our wedding and so I can get stuck into planning.

My weekly plan for this semester (ignoring work, chores, sleep, etc.):

Monday CPA 1
Tuesday CPA 2
Wednesday JD
Thursday CPA 1
Friday Night off (EA and I love our Friday nights in)
Saturday CPA 1, CPA 2, JD (half day)
Sunday CPA 1, CPA 2, JD (full day)

I won't be doing daddy-daughter night at Dad's for that period, I'll just have to fit family time in on one of my weekend days or on Friday nights. As far as the gym goes, it will be in the mornings only. Evenings will consist of eating dinner, having a shower and hitting the books. Fun!

I know that this is a lot to take on. The mood that I'm in today (along with the dull headache that has come on in the last couple of hours) isn't really helping my enthusiasm, but I figure that if I can just get through 12 weeks (which isn't very long when you think about it) then I can have three months of rest before getting back into it again for semester two.

Because I've received my materials a fortnight early, I'm going to capitalise on it and begin the study tomorrow night. I can use every advantage I can get, right?

Have you ever taken on too much? How did you deal with it?

Oh CPA! How I wish I have my first accounting graduate job and that I can start on my CA/CPA soon!

I have taken on a lot in the past...not sure how I dealt with it but somehow I always managed to come out fine...

Like how I was doing uni full time...and working 55 hours week to pay the bills.

And how I slept 5 hours average everyday for about 4 years.

I am actually at one of the laziest but most stressful periods of my life. No full time job, no studies. Just the stress of when my financials are going into the red. Lol!

Wow. That's a lot of work but I'm sure you will be able to cope with it.
