Retail therapy...

I'm currently on study and exam leave. I'm freaking out, and so won't be around for the next few days. I haven't been able to think about blogging over the last week or so. I hate that, because blogging is so fun for me. I'll be back on Tuesday night after spending over 7 hours in an exam room. You will also see a lot more posts related to wedding planning.

Today was fairly unproductive, so I'm feeling guilty. I'm also very sad because two of our fish died today. RIP Freckles and Caramel George. I cried for quite a while. I cry every time a fish dies. We won't be buying any more after our last three go I don't think. I can't handle the sadness each time.

Anyway, this is just supposed to be a quick post because I had a lovely evening. As I was home today I dropped EA to work and then picked him up. We went to Chermside for a couple of things, one being NACHO THURSDAY. I've spoken of this before - we've gone off NACHO THURSDAY recently, but given I'm on study leave and am stressed out of my mind, EA thought it would cheer me up. And cheer me up it did.

Doesn't look like much, but these are seriously the best nachos I've ever had.

We then walked around the shops for an hour or so. Yes, an hour that I should have been studying. I'm OK with that though, as EA and I haven't spent much time together recently. I bought the following items:

For our oil and balsamic - I couldn't wait to fill it once we got home. I've been really enjoying my Greek salads lately.

I adore ladybugs. I'll keep the jotter on my desk for random notes. The keyring will of course join my growing keyring collection. The rubber band ball? I have absolutely no freaking idea why I bought this. It was cute. Who knows, maybe I might need a rubber band. If not, who cares. It's cute and it can help clutter my desk along with all of the other cute things I keep buying.

So, nothing very exciting, but in all it was enough to make my day a little happier. We also went in to Oroton and I saw the Abbey tote in the flesh. I tried it on and it was perfect. I also had another look at the black wrist band that I adore. If my sister read my blog she'd know by now that I'd like it for my birthday. However, she has admitted on several occasions that she never reads my blog.

Perhaps I should post some embarrassing photos of her. Then I'll bet she'll take a look!

Speaking of photos, I got the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone. I'm going to have lots of fun with it after my exams.

Anyway, enough rambling. I hope you all have a great long weekend. The Queenslanders, anyway. Feel free to spare a thought for poor ol' me, chained to my desk, FREAKING OUT.
