I'm going to try not to bore you all with my work tales over the next few weeks. I had another unpleasant day in the office. The good news is that the email went around this afternoon letting people know I'm leaving. So now I don't have to feel as though I'm hiding it.
I went to Officeworks this afternoon after spending most of last night anxious about what stationery I was going to buy. I considered spending hundreds of dollars on a new Filofax, however I really do love my Oroton planner and so though I'd just get a plain financial year diary for my work obligations (though appointments will just go on my computer and phone - the diary will be for tax deadlines and my general to-do lists). I also have a notebook folder to take in to meetings - a little more professional than an exercise book.
Fine. I also bought stickers.
My desk is super messy. It's really quite awful. I think I'll wait for the morning though to clean it - when I'm feeling fresh and motivated.
Tonight I'm going to download some notes for my law subject (only a few weeks to go - the days are flying by and not much is being done...) and I'll also sort out my diary - it's full of post-its at the moment and I'm sure I don't need all of them.
