The husbane/boyfriend survey...

This survey has been doing the rounds. I've seen it done by Teacup Grunge, The Blonde Leopard, Domestic Divinity and All Cats are Grey at Night, among others. I thought I'd spend a few minutes having a go as well.

Note that EA is not yet my husband, but will be in 9 months and 4 days!

How long have you been together?

3 years and almost 1 month

How old is he?

He likes to say 28, but he's 29 in 6 days - and yes, I do tease him that he's old as well...

Who said "I love you" first?

I don't know. Pretty sure it was all on the same night. Probably me?

Who eats more?

EA does, but boy can I give him a run for his money with Maccas. Two burgers, please!

Who is taller?

EA is. He is about 6'1", and I am about 5'6" - I really should find out how tall I am.

Whose temper is worse?

We both have tempers, but mine is probably worse. EA gets angry about what I think are petty little things, and vice versa. I am more inclined to hold onto the anger though, whereas EA lets it go pretty quickly.

Who does the laundry?

I put things in the washing machine, EA hangs them out. Or I put them in the dryer. I HATE going out in the sun to hang the washing out, and then forgetting about it and having to collect it in the dark before the dew wets it all. Gah. Makes me so mad. Electricity be damned, I prefer the dryer!

Who sings better?

EA does.

Who is smarter?

I think I'm more book smart, but EA will disagree. We're smart at different things. EA is more intelligent, perhaps.

Who does the dishes?

EA does. I can load the dishwasher, but I'm hopeless at unloading it, and you'll never catch me washing dishes in the sink. I know. I'm terrible.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?

EA does.

Who pays the bills?

I physically pay them (online mostly), but it's using joint money.

Who mows the lawns?

EA does.

Who cooks dinner?

EA mostly. Wow. I am going to be a really bad wife.

Who drives when you are together?

EA does.

Who is more stubborn?

We're both pretty stubborn. Me moreso. I hate myself.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong?

EA.

Whose parents do you see the most?

I think it's about equal. We go through phases.

Who has more friends?

Hmm. Neither of us have many friends, I probably have more that I see semi-regularly.

Who has more siblings?

Equal - I have a sister and EA has a brother (makes the wedding party super easy!)

Was it love at first sight?

It all happened pretty quickly, but I wouldn't say it was love at first sight, no. Just a good, healthy progression.
