Blog This Challenge 31 - My New Super Power...

I thought that deciding which super power I would have would take a lot longer. Flying would be fantastic, reading people's minds would be cool but quite possibly dangerous and upsetting. I'd love to have the ability to be in two places at the one time or to slow down/speed up time.

However - I think the super power that I would most like would be the power to heal, like Kat from Eastwick (now cancelled after only one season - but it was a fun show!).

I don't so much mean the power to heal oneself, like that cheerleader from Heroes, but I'm sure that would be a perk of the job. I'm thinking the power to touch a child and have the cut on their knee heal over. To hold the hand of a cancer patient and have the cancer float away. And, selfishly, the power to overcome a hangover with a simple thought!

I don't think that there would be too many negative aspects to this power, except that if the world was to find out about me then I'd have about 3 billion people at my door begging me to help them. So it would need to be a discreet power - no cape, no recognition, no hype.
