Another day, another workout.
I surprised myself today. I had eaten a light dinner beforehand and so struggled a little more than I did last night, but it paid off I guess. Might not eat directly beforehand in future, but I was really hungry and felt that I had to put something in my tummy.
Average speed 7.79km/hr.
I should also note that I finally also completed 3 sets of 15 squats, lunges, sit-ups, and two exercises using arm weights that I don't know the name of. I was very sore afterwards, but in the best way.
On the diet front, I'm not following a diet or anything like that. I'm just trying to maintain balance. I'm also adopting the 'breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dine like a pauper' attitude and I do feel better for it, especially in the evenings. Going to bed full meant that sometimes I went to bed feeling a bit yucky.
I'm feeling some shin splints coming on, so I may just walk the 5km tomorrow night and give my poor legs a rest.

You are doing so well. I'm really proud of you. I've been walking and doing push ups on the stairs. About 4 times each day I stop on the stairs and do 10-15 push ups. Next stop is running. eek
